UX Intern

Overview

A co-op UX Intern role working across Revvity product teams to surface customer insights, share UX concepts across the company, and contribute to research that improves the design system.

What you'll do

• Onboard by learning about Revvity's products and customers, giving feedback on your onboarding experience, and identifying gaps.
• Get to know your team and the wider organization, gain a basic understanding of the problem space, and build a relationship with the global UX organization.
• Engage in research activities towards improving the design system.
• Engage with product teams to identify research needs.
• Conduct primary research (e.g., interviews, user testing) and secondary research (e.g., competitive analysis, literature review).
• Present your work to product teams, leadership and other stakeholders.
• Work closely with designers, product managers and developers to translate research insights into product improvements.

What you'll need

• Curiosity, a willingness to try new things and a love of learning.
• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program (BA/BS) or graduate program (Masters'/PhD).
• Located in Ontario, preferably in the GTA or KW area (Toronto or Kitchener-Waterloo).
• Experience with primary and secondary research methods.
• Experience conducting UX design.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to effectively document and present your research work.
• Ability to effectively communicate in both written and spoken English.
