Overview

Lead Major Incident Management for ETCC SRE Operations, owning end-to-end handling of critical incidents affecting DBS technology services.

What you'll do

• Lead major incidents from detection through resolution to restore service quickly with minimal business impact.
• Serve as the primary communication point during incidents, providing timely updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate SRE, development, infrastructure, and operations teams to diagnose and resolve production issues.
• Document incidents with timelines, actions taken, and resolution steps.
• Facilitate blameless-incident reviews to identify root causes and preventive actions.
• Drive continuous improvement of incident response using SRE principles, automation, and observability.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of experience in IT Operations, Incident Management, or Site Reliability Engineering in a large enterprise.
• Experience leading major incidents and coordinating cross-functional technical teams under pressure.
• Strong understanding of SRE principles and practices.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with incident management tools (ITSM, Remedy, ServiceNow, PagerDuty) and monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK).
• Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Shell) is indicated as a plus.
