Overview

Design, build and test web-based applications for various site components, edit site content, document technical designs and specifications, and research and incorporate updated content for websites.

What you'll do

• Document technical designs and specifications.
• Research and incorporate updated content and improvements into websites.
• Perform independently and become an SME.
• Participate actively and contribute in team discussions.
• Contribute solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of web components.
• Maintain and update documentation to reflect changes and enhancements in web applications.
• Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on project tasks.
• Monitor web application performance and suggest improvements to enhance user experience.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 year(s) of experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.
• Proficiency in COBOL Mainframe.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture and development lifecycle.
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex application issues.
• Ability to work with legacy systems and integrate them with modern web technologies.
• Familiarity with database management and data retrieval techniques related to mainframe environments.
• 15 years full time education.

Nice to have

• Experience with IBM CICS (Customer Information Control System).
• Experience with IBM Db2.
• Experience with Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM).
