Custom Software Engineer

Overview

As a Custom Software Engineer, develop, code, enhance, and maintain custom software components across systems or applications using modern frameworks and agile practices. Work with team members and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions aligned with business requirements.

What you'll do

• Perform independently and become an SME.
• Participate actively and contribute in team discussions.
• Contribute solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
• Design, code, and improve components within systems or applications.
• Maintain and improve existing software applications to enhance performance and user experience.
• Document software designs, processes, and code to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
• Apply modern methodologies and iterative development cycles to build scalable and efficient solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Jakarta EE.
• 15 years full time education.
• Must-have proficiency in Jakarta EE.
• Strong knowledge of Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with web technologies such as Servlets, JavaServer Pages, and RESTful web services.
• Familiarity with database integration and management using SQL and ORM frameworks.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
