Workday Extend Developer

Overview

Staff Analyst for People Technology to drive Workday transformation and lead Workday Extend architecture and integration design.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end architecture and technical design for Workday Extend applications and integrations.
• Architect and lead development of complex Workday Extend applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and Workday APIs.
• Design enterprise Workday integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, and REST/SOAP services.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, release management, and production support.
• Define and govern API, integration, security, authentication/authorization, and monitoring/performance strategies.
• Evaluate requirements and determine solutions across Workday configuration, Extend, integrations, APIs, and cloud/third-party platforms.

What you'll need

• 8–10 years overall IT/software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Workday Extend experience.
• Workday certification in Extend.
• Strong hands-on experience with Workday Integration Frameworks and Workday Studio.
• Experience with Workday REST/SOAP APIs and integration components (e.g., EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Web Services).
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI technologies.
