Account Executive - Portfolio

Overview

Lead portfolio sales for telecommunications and service provider accounts in India. Drive new business, expand existing relationships, and manage complex technology sales from prospecting through closing.

What you'll do

• Develop strategic sales plans for assigned service provider accounts.
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and coordinate internal teams.
• Identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities.
• Expand Cisco's footprint within existing client portfolios.
• Build relationships with executives, procurement teams, and technical decision-makers.
• Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and executive briefings.
• Maintain sales pipelines, forecasts, and customer records in CRM systems.

What you'll need

• 7–10 years of enterprise B2B sales experience.
• At least 4 years selling technology solutions to telecommunications or service provider organizations in India.
• Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience meeting or exceeding annual sales targets for complex technology solutions.
• Knowledge of the Indian telecommunications and service provider ecosystem.
• Working knowledge of IP/MPLS, SRv6, Agentic Ops, and Crossworks.
• Fluency in English and Hindi.

Nice to have

• MBA or postgraduate qualification.
• Experience with service provider network transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of AI, cloud, SDN, networking, and 5G technologies.
• Experience working with global systems integrators and strategic technology partners.
