Accounting & Reporting Analyst - Accounts Receivable - One Year Fixed Term Contract

Overview

One-year fixed term contract role in ABB Finance handling accounts receivable, cash application and AR month-end close, reporting to the Accounting & Reporting Manager - Accounts.

What you'll do

• Process incoming payments (cheque, RTGS, NEFT, wire, ACH, lockbox).
• Review and manage customer accounts, clearing invoices against payments.
• Follow up on and resolve unapplied cash by applying it against the appropriate AR item.
• Analyse open credits and apply them against the appropriate open AR item.
• Perform AR monthly closing activities.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliation for AR accounts.
• Establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with business controllers.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in the Order to Cash (O2C) process, covering reconciliation, reporting and accounting.
• SAP ERP experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Flexibility to work any shift timings.

Nice to have

• SAP/Oracle knowledge.
