Accounting & Reporting Analyst

Overview

Perform support activities within Accounts Payable and Credit in line with defined strategies, policies and procedures, processing AP accounting transactions in a complete, accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements. Reports to the Team Lead - Accounts Payable.

What you'll do

• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate tracking and processing.
• Perform necessary activities within the accounts payable area to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Execute analysis and reports as assigned and take appropriate action as necessary.
• Comply with and help achieve internal control over financial reporting compliance in accounts payable for applicable templates.
• Participate in internal control testing and prepare relevant documentation.
• Ensure all relevant stakeholders are aware of progress and/or issues to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Check invoices to verify that they comply with fiscal and internal control requirements.
• Organize and coordinate on a task, project or program basis in support of a process or internal team.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Freshers with post-graduation, or 2-3 years of experience with a Degree in Commerce background.
• Good communication skills.

Nice to have

• SAP knowledge in the Accounts Payable domain.

• Contributes to the Finance Services business, FAO-P2P division in Bangalore, India.
