Accounting & Reporting Analyst - General-1

Overview

Accounting & Reporting Analyst in General Accounting, reporting to the Team Lead - General Accounting, supporting accounts receivable and/or credit activities and record-to-report data management.

What you'll do

• Perform general accounting activities, applying techniques and standards to the classification and recoding of financial transactions.
• Execute quality checks on financial reporting data, including fluctuations monitoring.
• Comply with and help achieve Internal control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance in the General Accounting team for applicable templates, and participate in internal control testing and preparing relevant documentation.
• Assist with data gathering, data entry, and basic financial analysis to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements.
• Coordinate and get accounting details for bank transactions.
• Process JE in books of accounts.
• Perform R2R monthly closing activities.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliation.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in AP, AR, GA, and IG teams to resolve queries effectively.
• Liaise with FAO country teams to obtain accounting details for bank transactions related to both IHB and external banks.
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with business controllers.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• 5 to 9 years of experience in General Accounting, BRS, Treasury Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of bank accounting processes, including IHB and intergroup transactions.
• Must be flexible in working for any shift timings.
• Good communication skills, integrity and good collaboration.
