Accounts Receivable Associate

Overview

Accounts Receivable Associate responsible for managing outstanding insurance claims and patient balances, ensuring timely collections, and resolving payment discrepancies.

What you'll do

• Monitor outstanding insurance claims and patient balances and follow up for timely resolution.
• Investigate and resolve denials, underpayments, and delays in claim processing.
• Contact patients for outstanding balances, set up payment plans, and provide billing support.
• Reconcile daily AR reports and accounts to track collections and pending claims.
• Identify and escalate billing errors or discrepancies for resolution.
• Analyze denial trends, collaborate with the billing team, and prepare appeals with documentation.
• Generate aging reports, AR summaries, and document collection activities for compliance.

What you'll need

• 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable, medical billing, or revenue cycle management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience with RCM software such as EPIC, Athenahealth, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Kareo, or Meditech.
• Experience reconciling and reporting AR collections and pending claims.

• Work mode: Work from Office; Night Shift (8pm to 5am / 9pm to 6am).
