Admission Counselor

About the Job:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Admission Counsellor to join our team on a Full-time basis. This on-site role is a key point of contact for prospective students and their families, guiding them through the admissions journey with clarity, empathy, and professionalism. You’ll play a vital part in converting inquiries into confirmed applications while ensuring every candidate receives an exceptional experience from first conversation to enrollment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive outreach and follow-ups to manage leads and drive applications through the admissions funnel.
• Provide counselling to candidates by understanding their goals, eligibility, and preferred programs.
• Deliver compelling presentations of academic offerings, admission processes, and outcomes aligned to individual needs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing of documents, assessments, and interview or test scheduling.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, track lead status, and report progress against targets.
• Support event participation (on-campus or partner events), including booth handling and lead capture.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales and enrollment objectives while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong Sales and Sales Coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple leads effectively.
• Proven Sales Skills and persuasive communication to drive conversions in a friendly, student-first manner.
• Experience or confidence in B2B and B2C Sales dynamics, including handling diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent Counseling Skills—listening, empathy, and tailoring guidance to individual concerns.
• Professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment while staying organised and detail-oriented.
