Adobe AEM Architect

Overview

Adobe AEM Architect (CMS Architect) serving as the technical authority for Amgen’s Adobe Experience Manager platform and digital web technology.

What you'll do

• Own operational health, stability, availability, and continuous improvement for the global AEM platform.
• Define and govern platform architecture, engineering standards, and reusable frameworks for global implementations.
• Lead day-to-day platform operations including incident/problem management, root cause analysis, and escalations.
• Oversee support activities such as ticket triage, maintenance, release readiness, upgrades, patching, and change management.
• Design and implement reusable AEM components, platform services, integrations, and foundational capabilities.
• Establish monitoring/observability and performance tuning (including caching strategies and operational metrics).
• Maintain CI/CD, deployment, and operational processes for secure and compliant software delivery.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8 to 13 years of Information Systems experience.
• Extensive experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) including AEM as a Cloud Service, Sling, OSGi, JCR, Dispatcher, and Adobe Experience Cloud.
• Experience leading operational support for enterprise AEM platforms (incident management, problem management, change management, production support).
• Strong understanding of governance, engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for enterprise CMS platforms.
• Experience designing/supporting cloud-native architectures and CI/CD pipelines/DevOps practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills with experience mentoring engineers and leading initiatives.
