"Java Backend" and "Cloud Platform" Lead

Overview

Platform Development Engineering team lead for designing, developing, automating, and operating large-scale cloud platforms.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement high-availability, disaster recovery, and multi-region deployment strategies.
• Manage Kubernetes and Docker for microservices containerization.
• Lead DevOps and CI/CD automation, including CI/CD pipeline creation and deployment orchestration.
• Implement cloud security practices (IAM, secrets management, encryption, and policy enforcement) and DevSecOps controls.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance, and lead root-cause analysis for complex production incidents.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in designing/developing/operating large-scale cloud platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code including Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Programming/scripting experience using Python, Go, Java, or Bash.
• Experience with observability using tools such as Datadog, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
• 2+ years of work experience with programming languages including C, C++, Java, or Python.
