Advanced Quality Engineer

Overview

Advanced Quality Engineer executing advanced quality control for product excellence. You will lead quality activities across new product development and resolve quality issues with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end quality deliverables in the NPDL process and fast track development projects.
• Coach and train other functions on quality activities including CTQ, FMEA, supplier selection, PPAP, and process validation.
• Present quality status in the NPDL Gate and MS review and define corrective actions to meet deliverables.
• Define project budget for quality deliverables.
• Set quality KPIs in the NPDL project and define requirements for quality test and measurement equipment.
• Close customer complaint feedback loops by embedding learnings into design rules, QTPs, FMEAs, and other AQP tools.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in quality engineering roles within new product development, supplier quality, or industrial quality.
• Hands-on expertise with tools such as FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, APQP, problem-solving, and process validation.
• Knowledge of APQP theory and statistical methods.
• Engineering, quality management, or related technical degree (bachelor’s or master’s).
• Ability to influence a project team and communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.
• Strong computer skills including APQP applications, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Ability to work independently with global teams across time zones.

Details

• Operate in US work hours 3 pm – 12 am IST.
• Location: Pune.
