AI & Agentic Systems Engineering, VP

Overview

Lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise-grade AI, agentic, data and software engineering solutions. Guide prototypes from proof of concept to scalable production deployment while partnering with business, product, technology and control stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Architect AI copilots, domain assistants and multi-agent workflows using generative AI, LLMs and agentic frameworks.
• Design RAG solutions using semantic or hybrid search, embeddings, knowledge bases and vector databases.
• Build full-stack applications, APIs, microservices and data solutions with React, TypeScript, Python or Java.
• Establish LLMOps practices for evaluation, observability, testing, validation, performance and cost monitoring.
• Design predictive and analytical models for classification, ranking, recommendation and forecasting.
• Define reusable engineering patterns and lead delivery from proof of concept to enterprise deployment.
• Mentor engineers and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

What you'll need

• Extensive hands-on software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale distributed applications and production-grade AI solutions.
• Deep expertise in ReactJS and TypeScript with strong Python or Java engineering skills.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, asynchronous application design, BigQuery and PostgreSQL.
• Practical expertise in LLM applications, AI agents, RAG, vector databases, model evaluation and LLMOps.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, observability and automated testing.
• Grounding in machine learning, feature engineering, model explainability and analytical modelling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with asset management, ETFs or mutual funds and investment performance and risk metrics.
• Experience with FastAPI, Spring Boot, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Terraform, OpenTelemetry, MLflow or LangSmith.
