AI Engineer

Overview

As an AI Engineer at Jeeves, you will own complete AI-powered finance workflows end to end, building, shipping, measuring and improving systems that operate in production with real money and customers. This is a senior, hands-on role focused on practical AI engineering rather than research or a narrow, well-defined ticket queue.

What you'll do

• Own whole workflows from end to end, not individual features.
• Own everything from an invoice arriving to a payment going out, including document extraction, matching, policy checks, approval routing, posting to the customer's ERP, and evaluation and monitoring.
• Decide how to build, ship, measure and continuously improve workflows.
• Work closely with Product, Backend Engineering and customers' finance teams.
• Use coding agents and AI tools every day to move faster.
• Identify where coding agents and AI tools fall short.

What you'll need

• Senior, hands-on AI engineering experience.
• AI-native working practices.
• Experience using coding agents and AI tools every day to move faster.
• Ability to recognize where coding agents and AI tools fall short.

• Location: Mexico City, Mexico.
• Remote or hybrid based out of Mexico City, Mexico.
• Full-time remote position with the possibility of coming into the Roma Norte office on a flexible schedule.
