AI/ML Engineer

Overview

Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms for business and product applications, working with large datasets and cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms.
• Prepare, clean, normalize, and transform large datasets.
• Train, optimize, and evaluate models using relevant metrics.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders.
• Present work and gather feedback during design reviews.
• Prepare presentations and reports on data findings.
• Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods.

What you'll need

• Typically 2–4 years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Understanding of linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
• Programming proficiency in Python, R, or Java.
• Hands-on experience developing and implementing machine learning models.
• Experience with data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering.
• Knowledge of model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and cross-validation.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Keras.
• Experience with SQL, Git, software development methodologies, or production model deployment.

Details

• Hybrid role requiring an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office.
• Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
