Algorithm Developer

Overview

Develop computer vision, machine learning, and image processing algorithms for semiconductor inspection and metrology systems. The role covers algorithm design, optimization, integration, validation, and product release.

What you'll do

• Design and optimize inspection and metrology algorithms for semiconductor applications.
• Develop algorithms for defect detection, classification, segmentation, and registration.
• Optimize performance for production environments using CPU, GPU, and parallel computing.
• Analyze datasets, benchmark algorithms, and drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with product, applications, software, HPC, and systems engineering teams.
• Investigate product issues and customer algorithm challenges.
• Document designs, validation results, and development practices.

What you'll need

• MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of industry experience developing relevant algorithms.
• Strong programming skills in C++.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Understanding of computer vision, image processing, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Experience developing algorithms for complex hardware-integrated systems.
• Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor inspection, metrology, semiconductor equipment, or a related industry.
• Experience with OpenCV, NumPy, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Experience with CUDA, GPU acceleration, or CPU compute optimization.
