Senior Algorithm Developer

Overview

The Senior Algorithm Developer develops and maintains optimization engines and ancillary calculations for the company’s products, including technical support and client interaction.

What you'll do

• Develop optimization engine features and maintain high-quality, high-performance code.
• Design and maintain software with a focus on quality and performance.
• Conduct technical testing to resolve existing or introduced problems.
• Work through requirement specification for new software functionality.
• Liaise with colleagues and clients to reproduce and correct defective software.
• Provide technical advice and respond to customer technical queries.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience with .NET (VB.NET and C#) and other development languages such as C++, Python, etc.
• Strong mathematical skills in numerical analysis and optimization techniques.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with linear and mixed integer programming tools.
• Familiarity with analytical tools including Unit Commitment, Economic Dispatch, and Load Flow.
• Deep understanding of Operations Research and experience with complex models.
