Overview
Analyst position in BlackRock’s Cash Operations group, ensuring BlackRock cash data accuracy that supports investment management, analytics, compliance, and regulatory processes.
What you'll do
- Ensure daily reconciliations between the investment book of record and external prime record holders are completed and discrepancies are troubleshot.
- Review cash and asset position exceptions daily by researching differences and resolving them accurately and on time.
- Maintain accuracy of published cash figures.
- Perform data analysis to enhance transparency, decision drivers, and efficiency.
- Coordinate work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure issues are reviewed and progress to completion.
- Develop expertise in team control mechanisms and reporting.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree, with preference for Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.
- Understanding of financial instruments, particularly derivative products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Data analytics skills preferred, including coding in VBA, SQL, and/or Python and/or data science methods.
- Attention to detail to ensure high accuracy for deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Excel.
