Job description

Overview

Support a dedicated financial advisor or team of financial advisors and staff by servicing clients, organizing office workflow, and helping deliver a client experience that differentiates advisors’ practices. Follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when performing work activities.

What you'll do

  • Assist Ameriprise financial advisors in servicing clients, including preparing basic financial plans, conducting investment research, and completing trades and transactions such as money movement and new account opening as described by the advisor.
  • Prepare and summarize client meetings by scheduling and confirming meetings, creating agendas and meeting summaries, and providing necessary follow-up.
  • Prepare and ensure new business paperwork is successfully submitted, including preparing forms, obtaining appropriate signatures, preparing documentation to send to the home office, tracking new insurance and annuity applications, and coordinating rollovers.
  • Prepare for and coordinate marketing events, including creating marketing compliance documentation.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as answering the advisor’s phone, processing expense management reports, preparing routine client correspondence, setting up client files, and handling copy and new business correspondence and alerts.
  • Assist advisors in increasing their social media presence on Facebook and LinkedIn with relevant and timely content.
  • Help clients enroll in and receive servicing through various Ameriprise tools.

What you'll need

  • Willingness to pursue licensing certifications as needed, including Series 7 and possibly State Securities, State IAR, and State Insurance certifications.
  • Graduate in a finance discipline.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word.
  • Must have an eye for detail with high accuracy levels.
  • Ability to meet strict timelines according to the agreed SLAs for advisor practices.

Nice to have

  • 0–1 year experience or a 1-year diploma.
  • Exposure to financial products such as mutual funds, insurance, and retirement services.
  • Experience interacting with advisors or U.S. business partners.

Details

  • Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
  • Full-time position.
  • Employees work in the office at least three days per week, with flexibility to work from home two days per week.
  • Working hours are 8:00 pm to 4:30 am India time, corresponding to 9:30 am to 6:00 pm CST.
