Analyst - Financial Plan & Analysis

Overview

Financial Plan & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst supporting analysis of the organization’s financial results and FP&A processes across multiple finance workstreams.

What you'll do

• Support financial modeling and analysis of cash flow, receivables, payables, debt, equity, operating income, and working capital.
• Compile financial data to inform quantitative analysis and recommendations.
• Support month-end close with recurring and ad hoc reporting and analysis of variances to budget and prior year.
• Draft financial reports and support financial plan development and audit activities.
• Update and maintain financial databases by identifying sources, entering, verifying, and securing data.
• Build management dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
• Support budgets and quarterly forecasts and investigate discrepancies across systems while driving process improvements.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of work experience required for the role.
• 5+ years preferred work experience.
• Experience supporting analysis and reporting for financial planning and results.
• Ability to generate recurring and ad hoc reports for month-end close.
• Skills in variance analysis and financial analysis.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and Excel for reporting/dashboarding.
• Critical thinking and data-based decision making for quantitative analysis.
