CCL and MCL - Associate Financial Analyst

Overview

Associate Financial Analyst role within Maersk’s FP&A Data & Insights CoE, acting as a Finance Business Partner to Product and business finance teams.

What you'll do

• Provide analytical insights and improvement scenarios for L&S Product teams, focusing on customer profitability (Gross Profit and EBIT) and performance vs budget.
• Drive strategic financial support for profitable revenue growth with Regional, Area, and Global finance teams.
• Perform scenario analysis and ad-hoc financial analysis based on business needs.
• Lead performance management via accurate, timely reporting and follow-up for MPR, QBR, and Annual planning cycles.
• Manage and model stakeholder inputs to produce high-quality performance communication.
• Drive continuous improvements in report simplification, analytics tools, and reporting automation.
• Act as an interface across Product teams, Regional Finance, Global FP&A, and data analytics to ensure alignment on planning and reporting.

What you'll need

• Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of post-qualification experience in Finance, FP&A, or Business Partnering roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis, modelling, and executive reporting.
• Exposure to BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and financial systems is an added advantage.
• Strong financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance management.
• Excellent analytical skills for working with complex datasets and deriving insights.
