Analyst I- Portfolio Accounting

Overview

Support day-to-day portfolio accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, tax information, and audit processes for companies with complex holding structures.

What you'll do

• Process bank statements, invoices, accruals, provisions, and other accounting transactions.
• Maintain interest, amortization, and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare month-end, intercompany, and other financial reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, cash flows, management reports, and quarterly NAV and FMV reports.
• Assist with local tax return information, consolidation, and annual accounts.
• Coordinate with administrators, external auditors, and lending banks.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and reconciliations.

What you'll need

• Degree in accounting.
• Strong computer and spreadsheet skills.
• Familiarity with financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Ability to research technical accounting issues and reach well-reasoned conclusions.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.

Nice to have

• CA or equivalent qualification.
• Hedge fund or private equity industry experience.
• Experience with direct real estate investments.
