Analyst - MDM

Overview

Analyst role in Master Data Management (MDM) supporting customer, employee and vendor master data setup, data quality and SOX-compliant controls for WPP's Maconomy business systems.

What you'll do

• Set up customer, employee and vendor master data
• Perform data and process mapping
• Carry out data audits and assessments
• Deal with escalated client queries
• Build dashboards for monthly and quarterly audits
• Assess, manage and mitigate data quality risk
• Manage data governance processes in Maconomy business systems and related platforms
• Maintain data to a high standard of accuracy and within defined SLAs
• Identify and investigate issues in systems master data and take corrective action where appropriate
• Check, update and maintain internal system information
• Take part in project activity such as data collection, cleansing, migration and testing where appropriate
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls
• Review master data creation and modification, including daily, weekly or monthly ICFR control reviews of vendor and client creation and modification
• Carry out the yearly deactivation of vendors and clients as per process
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Support peak business periods and escalation requests

What you'll need

• Must have 2 to 5 years of core MDM experience (vendor/master data)
• Proficiency in English language skills
• Well versed with technology
• Strong knowledge of computer operating systems and database technology, especially Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel etc.)
• Process driven and methodical, with strong attention to detail and a desire to achieve a high standard of work
• Good administrative, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize work
• A real interest in data and databases, with an adaptable and flexible approach to work
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment
• Excellent support for customer service objectives
