Overview

Analyst - PowerBI Developer for AstraZeneca’s Chennai reporting and analytics team, engineering secure, scalable Power BI solutions for enterprise decision-making.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end design, development, deployment, and support of Power BI solutions.
• Build and optimize star-schema semantic models, calculations, and DAX for reliable analytics.
• Define standards, templates, and automation to improve consistency and maintainability.
• Ensure data quality and governance via source-to-report reconciliation and row-level security.
• Serve as a technical advisor to business and data stakeholders translating objectives into designs.
• Coach developers, run design and code reviews, and manage Agile/Scrum delivery activities.

What you'll need

• 4–6 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or data management.
• At least 4 years of hands-on Power BI solution delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Expertise in DAX, Power Query, dimensional modeling, star schemas, and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL skills and experience integrating data from databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise apps.
• Experience troubleshooting issues across the end-to-end reporting flow.

• Location: Chennai, Tamil Nādu, India.
• In-person working: minimum of three days per week from the office (with flexibility).
