Analyst, Procure to Pay

Overview

Analyst role in Procure to Pay (procurement operations) at PayPal, focused on day-to-day buying process activities with particular emphasis on SAP Ariba Contract Compliance, and on identifying process improvement initiatives.

What you'll do

• Facilitate onboarding of new vendors, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and third-party risk management protocols.
• Create, review, and process purchase orders for goods and services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial controls.
• Track and monitor procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and resolve any issues that arise.
• Reconcile supplier invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
• Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly to foster long-term partnerships.
• Implement cost control measures to manage organizational spend effectively and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze procurement data to identify trends, generate reports, and provide insights for process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize P2P processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information related to procurement activities.

What you'll need

• 1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of experience, with 4+ years in procurement / procurement operations.

Nice to have

• SAP Ariba knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience with Ariba modules.
• Basic understanding of procurement and contracting processes.
• Prior experience identifying and implementing process improvement ideas.
• Background in procure to pay, purchasing, contracts and/or compliance.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
• Hybrid work model: 3 days in the office and 2 days at your choice of PayPal office or home workspace (for the majority of employees).
