Overview

Analytics Engineer role owning datasets for Netflix cloud games infrastructure, spanning QoE and infrastructure capacity/utilization.

What you'll do

• Partner with engineering teams to understand cloud gaming infrastructure across QoE and capacity/utilization.
• Own the analytic data layer and data products that turn QoE and capacity/utilization into reliable partner insights.
• Work across the data stack, including telemetry/logging, data modeling, metrics development, visualization, and insights generation.
• Build toward self-service access with trustworthy, well-documented, maintainable outputs over time.
• Identify and drive highest-leverage investments within the cloud games infrastructure data domain.

What you'll need

• Expertise in SQL (Trino, Spark SQL).
• Programming experience (e.g., Python), plus ETL and data warehousing concepts at scale.
• Ability to develop pipelines of moderate complexity on massive telemetry datasets.
• Curiosity and comfort working with distributed systems engineering and networking concepts.
• Experience communicating technical/analytical concepts clearly across different audiences.
• Comfort with ambiguity and thriving with minimal oversight/process.

• Compensation: $330,000.00 - $566,000.00 annual salary (no bonuses; stock options allowed).
