Data Engineer

Overview

As a Data Engineer, you’ll help build the analytics foundation for the Data Science & Analytics team, turning data into reliable metrics, dashboards, and self-serve insights.

What you'll do

• Translate stakeholder key data model and reporting needs into technical requirements.
• Define, build, and manage dbt data pipelines transforming raw logs into canonical datasets.
• Set high data integrity standards and SLAs to ensure timely, accurate delivery of data.
• Develop dashboards that track core metrics and deliver company-wide insights.
• Build foundational data products, dashboards, and tools for self-serve analytics.
• Contribute to Product and GTM roadmap decisions from a data systems perspective.
• Become expert in the organization’s data models and data architecture.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar Data Science & Analytics role.
• Experience building multi-step ETL jobs and robust data models with dbt.
• Proficiency with workflow management platforms like Airflow and GitHub for version control.
• Expertise in SQL and Python for building accurate, clean data models.
• Experience building reporting and dashboards in visualization tools like Hex.
• Ability to partner with GTM and Product leads to build and report key company-wide metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience).

Details

• Hybrid policy: expected to be in one of the company offices at least 25% of the time.
