Overview

Product Manager for Anthropic’s Research team, owning ideation and deployment of new AI models and products grounded in user needs.

What you'll do

• Lead vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for frontier AI technologies to solve real-world problems.
• Partner with research teams to define, improve, and ship model capabilities.
• Identify nascent research that could become transformative products.
• Synthesize user insights into actionable requirements and evaluations.
• Maintain an objective view of the AI landscape and market capabilities versus Anthropic’s position.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across research, product engineering, and platform engineering teams.

What you'll need

• Deep passion and curiosity for AI and LLMs, using AI regularly.
• Ability to think from first principles and execute amid ambiguity across domains.
• Deep technical background in AI/ML concepts and willingness to go deep on technical solutions.
• Data-driven mindset with working proficiency in Python and SQL.
• User empathy and ability to turn vague or contradictory feedback into actionable priorities.
• Track record of launching ambitious products with distribution or commercial success.

Details

• Hybrid location policy: expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time.
• Visa sponsorship is available, with some roles/candidates not eligible.
• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
