Product Manager, Developer Platform

Overview

Product Manager for Figma’s Developer Platform, focused on developer tooling and infrastructure foundations.

What you'll do

• Define and drive strategy for parts of the developer platform.
• Make build-vs-buy decisions and sequence platform bets.
• Own design-to-code translation between Figma SceneGraph and codebases.
• Enable external AI agents to access Figma context via MCP Server and REST APIs.
• Influence product roadmaps through platform capability opportunities.
• Partner with EM and tech leads on architecture and UX decisions.
• Drive execution by distilling learnings into platform commitments.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of product management experience on highly technical products.
• Proven experience shipping developer tools, infrastructure products, or AI-powered technical systems.
• Shipped measurable quality improvements with metrics and methods.
• Hands-on technical fluency, including reading PRs and participating in architecture conversations.
• Strong systems thinking about how complex components interact.
• Technical communication to distill complex concepts into clear decisions.
• A track record of driving strategy and execution across ambiguous, fast-moving areas.
