Overview
Technical Product Manager driving strategy, development, and delivery of customer-facing digital products for SupplyHouse, focused on Search and Discovery.
What you'll do
- Conduct user and market research to guide product strategy and roadmaps.
- Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on business impact, technical complexity, and resources.
- Define and manage site search strategy (relevance tuning, ranking signals, synonyms, query understanding, faceted navigation, autocomplete, zero-results recovery).
- Manage category navigation and browse taxonomy to support customer navigation and search discovery.
- Own the product backlog by creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation in JIRA and Confluence.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support delivery through sprint planning/reviews and backlog grooming.
- Define metrics, monitor performance, and resolve technical issues post-launch; lead UAT planning/execution.
What you'll need
- 6+ years in a product or technical role focused on software development and system integrations.
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience owning search or discovery capabilities including relevance tuning, faceted navigation, or search quality analytics.
- Knowledge of full-stack technologies including React and Java (Spring Boot) and associated frameworks.
- Cloud deployment experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
- Ability to work on diverse/complex scope with minimal guidance.
Details
- Location: Remote, United States.
- Travel: requires travel to headquarters in Melville, NY 6 times per year for internal meetings.
- Role type: Full-Time; schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with time zone flexibility.
