Business Analyst- Salesforce

Overview

The Salesforce Business Analyst serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and the Salesforce technical delivery team. The role gathers and documents business requirements, translates them into user stories/specs, and supports Agile delivery and Salesforce optimization.

What you'll do

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Maintain the product backlog in Jira, including work notes and removing blockers for deployments.
• Analyze current-state business processes and identify Salesforce-based automation opportunities.
• Define test conditions and coordinate UAT with business stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role.
• 2+ years of direct Salesforce platform experience (standard/custom objects, flows, validation rules, security controls).
• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence; ServiceNow and Microsoft Office Suite needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst and/or Salesforce Certified Administrator strongly preferred.
