Overview
Senior Analyst for Data & Analytics who designs, builds, tests, deploys, and supports enterprise analytics and reporting solutions using data engineering and Power BI.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and support analytics solutions including ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, datasets, dashboards, and reports.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using SQL, Python, Databricks, and cloud/relational databases.
- Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports, including semantic models, relationships, measures, and DAX logic.
- Create reusable reporting-ready datasets from sources like Databricks, cloud platforms, warehouses, APIs, files, and relational databases.
- Troubleshoot data quality, refresh, semantic model, DAX, visualization, access, pipeline, and report performance issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and QA to clarify requirements, validate business logic, support UAT, and remediate defects.
What you'll need
- 2–4 years of relevant experience across data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, Power BI development, reporting, or software/data platform delivery.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, data mapping/validation, and data modeling.
- Experience developing Power BI dashboards/reports, semantic models, DAX measures, and visualization solutions.
- Exposure to dimensional modeling and Power BI modeling concepts (relationship design, grain, and performance-aware modeling).
- Working experience with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL (or similar).
- Experience with cloud data services (examples include Azure Data Factory, AWS S3/Glue/Lambda/Athena, Redshift, RDS) or comparable services.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision while escalating risks/blockers.
