Android Developer - AI Finance Agent

Overview

Android Developer for KIRA’s AI Finance Agent, building and shipping native Android features with strong UX, performance, and reliability.

What you'll do

• Build and ship Android features using Kotlin.
• Create mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.
• Work with product and design to simplify complex user journeys.
• Integrate backend APIs and keep mobile flows stable, secure, and reliable.
• Improve app performance, crash rate, loading states, responsiveness, and memory usage.
• Use analytics and production issue signals to improve the product.
• Build AI-assisted mobile experiences where they improve the user journey.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin.
• Strong Android fundamentals and experience shipping production apps.
• Knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture.
• Strong mobile UX skills, including usability and edge cases.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues.
• Ability to execute fast with high ownership and attention to product quality.
• App links/GitHub/screenshots/examples of shipped work are a strong advantage.

• Remote role with a requirement to be based in Hong Kong.
