Annotation Specialist I

Overview

Annotation Specialist I responsible for data annotation and analysis to support AI model training and evaluation of AI outputs.

What you'll do

• Curate and structure complex financial data for AI model training, fine-tuning, and benchmarking.
• Partner with AI Research Engineers to evaluate outputs, debug edge cases, and reduce model hallucinations.
• Serve as an accuracy gatekeeper before GenAI features go live.
• Provide feedback to build faster evaluation tools and data pipelines.
• Improve internal tools by designing workflows that accelerate data delivery and raise accuracy baselines.
• Stay informed on trends in data annotation, financial data taxonomy, AI ethics, and emerging GenAI technology.

What you'll need

• MBA in Finance (or related field) plus an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
• Deep understanding of financial statements, corporate filings, earnings reports, and capital markets data.
• A zero defect mindset with exceptional attention to detail for analyzing complex data.
• Ability to explain technical and financial edge cases to research engineers.
• Proficiency with workspace tools including G Suite and MS Excel/Office.
