Application Development Engineer

Overview

Application Development Engineer supporting Motion R&D projects in variable frequency drives and related application development. The role contributes to technology, software, and solution implementation in an onsite Ahmedabad setting.

What you'll do

• Contribute to R&D projects as a reliable team member.
• Apply technical knowledge to solve problems in your area of competence.
• Support assigned quality, time, scope, and cost targets.
• Identify and address project risks.
• Execute assigned R&D tasks in a structured way.
• Apply current technology knowledge to assigned activities.

What you'll need

• 2 to 3 years of experience.
• Full-time BE or B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation.
• Technical experience with low-voltage variable frequency drives or a similar area.
• Understanding of variable frequency drive working principles.
• Programming experience with VFDs and PLCs.
• Knowledge of functional programming, ladder logic, or structured text.

Nice to have

• Embedded programming knowledge.
