Application Engineer - III

Overview

Application Engineer - III responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting trade enablement applications for brokerage and investment operations.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and implement applications and databases.
• Translate technical specifications into code and support automated testing.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Integrate multiple data sources, APIs, and services to streamline data flow.
• Create and maintain backend documentation for architecture and logic.
• Implement security, data protection, and backend resilience best practices.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, system integration, database design, and back-end architecture.
• B.E./B.Tech in relevant fields or a Master’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science.
• Hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in AWS Cloud Services and cloud-native application development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database performance optimization.
• Exposure to production support, troubleshooting, and incident management.

Nice to have

• Exposure to React/Angular and Python is preferred.
• Financial services, trading, brokerage, or wealth management domain experience is a plus.
