Application Engineer III MEA and Oil and Gas

Overview

Application Engineer III / Pre-sales Engineer responsible for supporting Oil & Gas business growth through solution validation, technical risk analysis, customer engagement, and project transition support.

What you'll do

• Validate solution-design assumptions, estimates, and scopes of work with Operations.
• Provide technical risk analysis for complete solutions.
• Participate in transition meetings covering project scope, objectives, timelines, and customer requirements.
• Collect data on-site at customer facilities when required.
• Support post-contract design reviews.
• Develop components for telecom, security, safety communication, networking, and cybersecurity systems.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and vendors.

What you'll need

• More than 7 years of experience in physical security, radio, networking, safety communication, and cybersecurity systems.
• Bachelor's degree in telecommunication, electronics, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
• Knowledge of Telecom System Integrator working practices.
• Technical knowledge of ADNOC, Qatar Energy, Kuwait Oil Company, and PDO standards.
• Experience validating vendor quotes technically and commercially.
• Experience preparing techno-commercial proposals, bills of quantity, and concept block diagrams.
• Fluency in English and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• OEM-related product certification.
