Staff Application Engineer

Overview

Staff Application Engineer in Worldwide Regional Applications, focused on FPGA usage in 5G and related architecture, virtualization, performance optimization, and security.

What you'll do

• Handle key customer escalations from analysis to closure.
• Work with field teams and distributors to improve customer designs and products.
• Participate in development projects and generate collateral and reference designs.
• Develop and deliver training materials on new features and methodologies.
• Maintain local and cross-organizational communication and collaboration.
• Stay current with and propose internal use of industry approaches, algorithms, and practices.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in architecture, design, or implementation in 5G and DSP.
• BS/MS/PhD in Electronics, Electrical, or Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and debugging DSP algorithms for FPGA applications.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.
• Excellent working knowledge of RTL-based design flows and expectations.
• Good working knowledge of the FPGA or ASIC design process and tool flow.
