Senior Staff Application Engineer - AMS Design

Overview

Senior Staff Application Engineer for Analog Mixed-Signal (AMS) design, working on application-level support for next-generation automotive products.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with teams to set up design and system requirements for multiple applications (e.g., configurations, design system, system clocking, data management, tool licensing).
• Develop block and product definitions, integration requirements, and verification requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Support test planning, silicon bring-up, characterization, and testing activities.
• Supervise tool utilities and layout activities related to block and chip design.
• Provide integration support into the design flow and cooperate with top-level integration.
• Contribute to the development of mixed-signal solutions for next-generation automotive products.

What you'll need

• At least 8 years of relevant work experience in mixed signal design support on architectures and application engineering (advantage).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of standard I/O interfaces, including single-ended and differential (plus).
• Knowledge of custom layout techniques/definitions for mixed-signal circuits and related concepts (ESD, latch-up, packaging, PCB) (plus).
• Understanding of Spectre simulation and mixed-signal design concepts in integration.
• Transistor-level design understanding.
• Experience designing blocks such as ADCs, DACs, and AFEs; AFE+ADC subsystem experience is a plus.
