Application Support Engineer

Overview

Act as a software detective, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

What you'll do

• Act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to perform.
• Take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline issue resolution and improve system processes.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize support workflows and reduce downtime.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Google Kubernetes Engine.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Proficiency in Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Strong knowledge of container orchestration and management within cloud environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Experience with monitoring tools and incident management processes in cloud-native applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting to support deployment and maintenance tasks.
