Application Support Engineer

Overview

Application Support Engineer acting as a software detective to identify and resolve issues across components of critical business systems.

What you'll do

• Perform independently and become a subject matter expert (SME).
• Actively participate in and contribute to team discussions.
• Contribute solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance service delivery.
• Provide timely updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution progress.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in Spring Boot.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Spring Boot.
• Experience with Java programming and related frameworks to support application development and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Familiarity with application monitoring tools and techniques to proactively identify system issues.
• Ability to work with databases and perform basic query optimization to support application troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and version control systems.
• 15 years full time education.
