Application Support Engineer

Overview

Act as a software detective providing dynamic support to identify and resolve issues across multiple components of critical business systems, with a focus on Epic Systems.

What you'll do

• Provide primary support for your designated Epic application or module.
• Take on advanced issues in your application area and more complex tasks involving system configuration, testing and administration.
• Provide ongoing system support and maintenance based on the support roster.
• Respond in a timely manner to system issues and requests.
• Investigate, assess and evaluate system issues and deliver solutions and fixes.
• Handle and deliver Service Requests, Change Requests and New Builds.
• Perform system monitoring, such as error queues, alerts and batch jobs, and execute the required actions or SOPs.
• Perform or support regular and periodic system patching, maintenance and verification.
• Perform or support planned system upgrades, cutover to production, and post-cutover support and stabilization.
• Perform or support the work required to comply with audit and security requirements.
• Comply with compliance requirements as mandated by the project.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Epic Systems.
• Epic Systems as a must-have skill.
• Must have: Certified in Cadence and Prelude.
• Must have: experience in troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
• 15 years of full-time education.

• Required to overlap with client business or office hours.
