Application Support Engineer

Overview

Application Support Engineer role acting as a software detective to identify and resolve issues across multiple components of critical business systems.

What you'll do

• Work independently and become a subject matter expert (SME).
• Actively participate in and contribute to team discussions.
• Contribute solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Assist in implementing system updates and enhancements to improve overall functionality.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing expertise.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle CPQ Cloud (Big Machines).
• Proficiency in Oracle CPQ Cloud (Big Machines).
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on diagnosing and resolving software issues.
• Experience monitoring and maintaining enterprise-level software applications.
• Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes of problems.
• Familiarity with software lifecycle processes and change management practices.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• 15 years full time education.
