Application Support Engineer

Overview

As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as a software detective, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

What you'll do

• Perform independently and become a subject matter expert (SME).
• Actively participate and contribute in team discussions.
• Contribute solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and continuous improvement of support processes.
• Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
• Monitor and analyze system performance using Datadog tools and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and applications.
• Work with logs, metrics, and traces to identify and resolve system anomalies.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Datadog.
• Proficiency in Datadog.
• Strong understanding of incident management and root cause analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and its impact on application performance.
• 15 years full-time education.
