Overview
Applied AI Architect (Commercial) — a pre-sales technical advisor helping customers understand and integrate Claude into their technology stacks.
What you'll do
- Partner with account executives to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Act as the primary technical advisor through the Claude adoption journey from discovery and evaluation to deployment.
- Coordinate internally across multiple teams and stakeholders to drive customer success.
- Support customers building with the Claude API, Claude Code, and Claude for Enterprise.
- Ship prototypes and proof-of-concepts, create eval frameworks, and provide near-production examples.
- Build reusable blueprints, demos, and enablement assets for scaling across customers.
What you'll need
- 3+ years technical experience as a software engineer (or equivalent) with some customer-facing exposure, or 3+ years as a Solutions Architect/Sales Engineer/Technical Account Manager with hands-on building.
- Comfort with Python.
- Strong coding ability, including shipping prototypes and working in a real codebase.
- Strong technical communication skills to translate between technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools, or a background in machine learning or data science.
- Experience working in early-stage ambiguous environments by building structure as you go.
Details
- Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops, technical deep dives, and relationship building.
- Location-based hybrid policy: expect to be in one of the company offices at least 25% of the time.
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
