Overview
Lead architecture for enterprise-grade Java and Spring-based applications, APIs, data platforms, integrations, and messaging services across Trusted Call Solutions and Mobile Messaging products.
What you'll do
- Define and govern target architectures, roadmaps, standards, and implementation plans.
- Lead architecture and design reviews for integrations, data flows, security controls, and system enhancements.
- Establish scalable patterns for microservices, distributed systems, Kafka, Cassandra, REST APIs, and cloud environments.
- Guide legacy modernization toward cloud-ready or cloud-native architectures.
- Drive improvements in scalability, performance, resilience, security, observability, and supportability.
- Provide technical leadership during production incidents and sponsor architectural remediation.
- Mentor engineers and technical leaders across geographically distributed teams.
What you'll need
- 12+ years designing and developing enterprise software.
- Deep experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Security, Spring Data, Kafka, Cassandra, and REST.
- Experience defining scalable, reliable, secure backend platforms and high-volume data or messaging systems.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, microservices, integration patterns, data modeling, and performance engineering.
- Experience with architecture roadmaps, technical specifications, nonfunctional requirements, decision records, and estimates.
- Strong production troubleshooting, observability, capacity planning, and reliability engineering experience.
- Strong Linux skills and familiarity with AWS or comparable cloud technology.
Nice to have
- Experience with Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, or observability tools.
- Experience in telecommunications, mobile messaging, fraud prevention, identity, or related communications technologies.
- Experience leading modernization initiatives across geographically distributed teams.

- Hybrid position with at least two days per week in an assigned TU office.
- Location: Bengaluru.
