Assistant Manager, Corporate Accounting

Overview

Assistant Manager, Corporate Accounting to provide leadership and technical oversight for corporate accounting operations, including accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance, and client service.

What you'll do

• Oversee preparation and review of complex accounting deliverables including financial statements and bookkeeping.
• Manage accounting processes such as general ledger reconciliations, record-to-report, and intercompany accounting.
• Handle tax-related activities and corporate accounting deliverables for allocated clients.
• Lead, coach, and develop Accountants, Senior Accountants, and new team members with technical guidance and feedback.
• Resolve complex accounting queries and manage client/stakeholder interactions to meet service levels and delivery timelines.
• Drive operational excellence by monitoring team KPIs, reviewing quality/compliance, and implementing process improvements.

What you'll need

• MBA.
• Qualified or semi-qualified CA or CMA.
• Extensive experience in corporate accounting and financial statement preparation.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and applying accounting standards within corporate/professional services.
• Proficiency in accounting systems/ERP platforms, preferably NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar.
• Strong leadership, analytical, stakeholder management, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
