Assistant Manager – Global Payroll

Overview

Assistant Manager – Global Payroll will manage and oversee global payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and compliance.

What you'll do

• Process monthly payroll for employees across different countries.
• Check taxes and statutory/other payroll deductions.
• Prepare and post payroll, bonus & vacation journal entries and accruals.
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts and ledgers.
• Ensure statutory payments and filings (e.g., US 401K, EPF, ESI, PT & LWF) are completed on time.
• Prepare payroll MIS/reports and support payroll audits.
• Coordinate with external payroll providers and resolve payroll issues.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of global payroll experience.
• Degree/PG in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits accounting including journal entries and accruals.
• Experience with payroll compliance and outsourced payroll vendors.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create process/SOP documentation.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
